First of all, thank you for all those great articles!
My name is Bing, and i’m from Berkley MA (30 minutes south of Boston). I’m selling my apartment in NY and it’s under agreement. I want to use that money (around 150k) to get into real estate investments (around south coast MA). My father in law is a general contractor so I think it a would be a plus. However, neither me or him has any experience about this business (but we are very passion about it). I just want to reach out to an expert like yourself, to tell me if it’s still a good idea to start this game giving my situation.

Hey Bing,
Real estate is, in my opinion, one of the simpler forms of investing to learn. Once you get the numbers (which aren’t hard to get) it’s pretty easy to get an idea what to expect, and this gives you a pretty good indication what you should do.
What about South Coast MA makes you want to start investing there?
What are your investing goals-building passive income, grow equity, get cash from flipping, etc.
